Graveside service for Rev. Charles Glenn Werdebaugh, age 76, of Moulton, will be Thursday, December 16, 2021, 1:45 p.m. at Midway Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel.
Rev. Werdebaugh, who died Sunday, December 12, 2021, at NHC HealthCare, was born March 29, 1945, in Courtland, to Charles Calvin Werdebaugh and Gladys Terry. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Billy Werdebaugh. Rev. Werdebaugh was a Southern Baptist Minister for over 30 years. He pastored at Maranatha Baptist Church, now known as Redemption Baptist Church. He also worked in maintenance at Solutia. Rev. Werdebaugh was well loved and liked by everyone, and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by one son, Kenny Werdebaugh of Texas; one daughter, Angela Dawn Werdebaugh; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
