Charles Glenn Maples, age 70, of Gurley, died on Thursday March 26, 2015.
Mr. Maples was a retired truck driver and avid horseman. He loved horses and Alabama football. Mr. Maples is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Mildred Maples; and his dog, companion, and best friend, Dusty.
Mr. Maples is survived by his siblings, Judy Maples, Peggy Cantrell and husband Bill, Billy Maples, and Debbie Boyd and husband Duane; his step daughter, Lisa Johnson; 3 nieces; 1 nephew; and 5 great nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Sunday March 29, 2015 at 3:30pm at Gurley City Cemetery with Bro. Bill Cantrell to officiate. Burial will follow. The family will receive friends on Saturday March 28, 2015 from 5pm until 8pm at Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville.
