Charles Glenn Harkey, 89 of Burnsville, MS passed from this life on August 19, 2026 at his home in Burnsville. Visitation will be Saturday, August 22, 2026 from 12pm-2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home- East and a graveside service will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Iuka. Greg Woodruff will officiate the graveside service. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Harkey, Johnny Harkey, Lincoln Harkey, Caison Harkey and Randy Jones. Born March 10, 1937 in Trimble, TN. to the late Charley Harkey and the late Virgie Gertrude Gatlin Harkey Kelly; Charles Glenn was a retired self-employed truck driver. He loved going to the VFW and dancing. Hunting, fishing and working in his shop were things he also enjoyed doing. Charles Glenn is survived by his sons, Glenn Dale Harkey (Mary), Johnny Harkey, Charles Dave Harkey and Jimmy Harkey (Jessica); daughter, Kathy Stewart (Allen); 17 grandchildren, Lincoln Harkey, Clara Mae Harkey, Rivy Harkey, Caison Harkey, Glenn Harkey, Theresa Harkey, Carol Harkey, Faith Zilm, Jonathan Kaurz, TJ Langer, Michael Harkey, Linda Harkey, Mark Harkey, Diana Harkey, Christina Harkey, Elizabeth Walters and Carol Stewart; 12 great grandchildren; mother of his son, Jimmy, Dorothy Blakney Lambert; other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Charley Harkey; mother, Virgie Harkey Kelly; brothers, Lee Edward Harkey, Howard Wayne Harkey and James Edward Harkey and the mother of 4 of his children, Lois Jean Alexander.
