Mr. Charles “Glen” Elrod, age 52 of Athens, AL passed away on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Athens Limestone Hospital. He was born on May 16, 1966 in Morgan County to Charles and Ann Bailey Elrod.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ann Elrod.
Glen is survived by his wife, Terry Elrod; son, Cory Elrod; daughter, Lydia Elrod; sister, Cynthia Martin and husband John; father, Charles Elrod and numerous nieces and nephews.
He loved pool, going frog gigging and fiddle playing. He was an avid fan of Alabama football and Star Trek.
Services will be at 10:00AM on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Eddie Littrell officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00PM on Monday, November 19, 2018 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Reunion Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Martin, Christopher Nave, Timmy Batrum, Robin Hopkins, Darrell Blankenship and Donald Skinner.
