Charles G. McDaniel, age 75, of Russellville died Thursday, December 10, 2015. Visitation will be held Saturday, 6-8 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. His funeral service will be Sunday at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Sonny Owens, Guy McDaniel and Andy Lane officiating. Burial will follow in Franklin Memory Gardens.
Mr. McDaniel attended Spring Valley Church of Christ and was retired from Muscle Shoals Mack. He was preceded in death by his parents; Charlie and Lula McDaniel; son, Charles McDaniel; brothers, Wesley McDaniel, Eulis McDaniel; and sisters, Clois Davis and Dorothy Moran.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara McDaniel; sons, Shane McDaniel (Cindy), Chris McDaniel (Sunny), and David Taylor (Kim); daughters, Connie Kulcsar (Sel), Qualan Kulcsar (Dave), and Alice Crookshanks (Dan), Nina Rieben (Derek); brother, Guy McDaniel (Anne); sisters, Lydia Stidham, Dian Hester, Christine Hester (James); fourteen grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Chris McDaniel, Shane McDaniel, Adam Albright, Dave Kulcsar, David Kulcsar and Sel Kulcsar.
The family expresses special thanks to the staff of Alacare Hospice for their loving care.
