Charles Edwin Rowell passed away on Sunday, Dec. 10, 2017, at the age of 43. His visitation was Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2017, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. His funeral service will be today at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with William Bishop officiating. Burial will be in Shaw Cemetery.
Charles was a native of Colbert County and a member of the Carpenters Local 109. He was a loving father and great friend to all.
He is survived by his mother, Thelma Gayle Rowell; daughter, Malia Rowell; and sister, Deborah Evans.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Davenport, Jamie Jeffreys, Heath Gregory, Josh Rohling, Ricky Rohling, and Tracy Crowden. Honorary pallbearers will be Byron Mitchell and William Higgens.
