Charles E. Seamster, longtime Plantersville resident, departed this realm from the River Chase Village Nursing Center in Gautier, Ms. where he had lived for several months after the passing of his beloved wife, Pat, in August, 2025. He was 83 years old, spent much of his working life as a deliveryman of milk, bread and, after retiring from Wonder Bread, delivered blood from blood banks to hospitals and health clinics everywhere.
A service celebrating his life will take place at 3:30 PM Thursday, Feb. 12, 2026 from the Sadie Holland Memorial Chapel at Holland Funeral Directors-Tupelo. Burial will follow in Plantersville Cemetery. Visitation for the public will begin at 2:30 PM on Thursday only, one hour before the service.
