Charles E. “Chuck” Hart, 72, passed away Friday, September 14, 2018 after a brief illness surrounded by his family and friends.
Pappa was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Ruby Hart; brother, Ronnie Hart; and step-mother, Lola Hart.
For 17 years, Pappa was a driver for AAA Cooper Transportation in Madison, Alabama.
He was a member of Oak Grove Pentecostal Church.
Visitation will be Monday, September 17, 2018 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Central Heights. The funeral service will be Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Grove Pentecostal Church, Waterloo with Brother Steve Bender and Brother Paul Halloway, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. His remains will lie-in-state at the church from 1:00-2:00 on Tuesday.
He is survived by his bride of 53 years, Wanda Smith Hart; daughters, Jennifer Olive (Chris) and Hanna Wood all of Waterloo; grandsons, Jordan Hart, Jeff Wood (Mindy), Dylan Wood (Jennifer); great grandchildren, Anthony, Braxton and Savanna Wood, Dee and Gracie Sutton.
Pallbearers are William Parrish, Bobby Parrish, Clovis Parrish, John Parrish, Andy Parrish, Wayne Sharp, Raymond Sharp and Jimmy Shook.
