Charles Dixon O’Rear, Jr., age 49 of Arley, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at his residence.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 12:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery. Rick Sherer will officiate.
Mr. O’Rear was preceded in death by his Grandfather-Yong Hui Shin; Grandmother-Ok Son Choe; Grandfather-John William O’Rear; Grandmother-Artie Elizabeth O’Rear; Father-in-law-Jerry Lackey.
He is survived by his Wife-Keri O’Rear; Mother-Kum Cha O’Rear; Father-Charles D. O’Rear, Sr.; Brother-James W. O’Rear (Melissa); Nieces-Darian O’Rear and Virginia Grace O’Rear; Brother-in-law-Phillip Lackey; Mother-in-law-Emily Lackey.
Pallbearers will be Mark Hutto, Brandon Threlkeld, Shane Estill, Terry Cox, John Keith Akins, Ronnie O’Rear and and Dee Dee Chandler.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Rod O’Rear, Greg Gill, Tommy Tapley and Billy Ingle.
