Funeral service for Charles Dewayne Powell, 65, of Vinemont will be at 2 p.m., Monday, September 11th, 2023 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Friendship Methodist Cemetery, Rev. Perry McCravy officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12-2 on Monday.

Mr. Powell passed away Thursday, September 7th, 2023 at CRMC. He was born April 23, 1958 to Charles Edward & Ruby Prater Powell. Dewayne loved tinkering with old cars. He loved going to his church, taking trips with the Seniors and he loved hunting.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, Richard Klein.
Survivors include his sisters, Patty (Rev. Perry) McCravy, Donna (Jim) Sandlin, Melissa Klein; nieces, nephews, family and friends.
