Memorial service for Charles Davis Smith, Jr., 62, of Decatur, will be Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at 6 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home with Rev. Harold Coomer officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Smith died August 24, 2018. He was born January 1, 1956 in Missouri to Charles Davis Smith, Sr. and Mary Alice Cromer Smith. Mr. Smith was a barber and he operated Dave’s Barber Shop. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his son, Shane Smith (Brandi) of Madison, AL.; daughter, Shannon Linder (Tim) of West Palm Beach, FL.; brother, Mike Smith (Myra) of Hartselle, AL.; sisters, Debbie Hughes (Brian Honaker) of West Palm Beach, FL. and Alice Marie Swoope of Portland, OR.; grandchildren, Zachary Smith, Kaden Smith, and Cody Dillman.
