Charles David Boos, age 82, of Grant entered his eternal life on October 31, 2023. David was born to the late Charles Edward Boos and Beatrice Williams in Carbondale, IL. As a young adult, David enlisted in the U.S. Army to serve his country. After retirement from the military , he was a proud retired Grandpa! He was a jack of all trades, he could do just about anything you wanted! If you knew David, you probably knew him by “Pawpaw,” he was friends with everybody. He never met a stranger.
Pawpaw is survived by his wife Evangeline, or better known as “Granny,” His daughter, Malynda Boos, his son Jon Phipps (Carrie), Brian Felsinger, Granddaughters: Laura (Daniel) Caldwell, Heather Kennedy, Hope Felsinger, Jessie Felsinger, Kimmy Christmas, Brooke Thompson, and Cassey Word (Logan), Great Grandchildren: Kaitlyn (Jordan), David, Jon, Josh, Aubrey, Caiden, Marshall, Allie, and Cal. Pawpaw was blessed with a host of wonderful friends and extended family.
The family of Mr. Boos has elected for cremation, there are no other services planned at this time
