Charles “Dave” Miller – Obituary

Charles “Dave” Miller, 72, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2016, at Rush Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois.
He was born on Feb. 9, 1944, in Florence, Alabama the son of Bessie Miller.
He was educated in the schools of Florence, Alabama. He married Jean Storc on Oct. 1, 1977, in Chicago,
Illinois; they later divorced. Charles served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a self-
employed painter.
Survivors include his two children, Brad (Gina) Miller and Heather (Brian) Ruha; his ex-wife, Jean Hiera;
four sisters, Betty Jane (Bill) Howard, Feonia (Bob) Lannan, Jonella Prestridge, and Marsha Ann (Ed) Taylor; and four grandchildren, Audrey, Carson, Alana, and Addison.
He was preceded in death by his mother; a granddaughter, Marissa Ruha; and two sisters, Jimmie Sue Luebke and Charlene Lewis.
Visitation will be Saturday, May 14, 2016, from 8:30-10:30 a.m. at Kenosha Funeral Services with a funeral service to follow at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be at Green Ridge Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials for the family would be appreciated.
