Charles D. Rivers, Sr., age 83 of Arley, passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at Walker Baptist Medical Center.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Kemp Baptist Church, funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Fred Rivers will officiate.
Mr. Rivers was preceded in death by his Parents-Tom and Athel Rivers; Son-Jeffrey Lynn Rivers; Brother-Fred Rivers; Sister-Christine Howard; Wife-Mary Rivers; Wife-Minnie Rivers.
He is survived by his Step Daughters-Betty Horsely and Melissa Reynolds; Sons-Charles D. Rivers, Jr. (Michelle) and Richard Scott Rivers; Sister-Ernestine “Shorty” Gaines (Jimmy); Grandchildren-Amanda, Miranda, Brandy, Tiffany, Alyssa, Devin, Heather, Tessa and Zach; Host of Great Grandchildren.
