Charles D. Johnson, 90, a Navy veteran of the Korean War passed on July 24th peacefully at his home in Toney, Alabama. After earning a degree at Auburn University, he had a long successful career as an engineer. He was an active member of the choir at Ford’s Chapel Church
Mr. Johnson is survived by two sons, 14 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. He was loved and will be missed by many.
There will be a viewing on Tuesday, the 28th, at Laughlin Service Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and a graveside service in Springville, Alabama on July 29th at 11:30 a.m.
In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to Ford’s Chapel United Methodist Church in Harvest, Alabama.
