Charles Cleo Slaton Jr., 48, passed away peacefully at home, Monday, September 28, 2015, with his family by his side. Charles was born in Lawton, OK, but was a long time resident of Huntsville. Mr. Slaton was preceded in death by his parents, Charles H. and Lieselotte K. Slaton.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved sister, Angela C. Slaton; son, Niklaus Grant Slaton of Pensacola, FL; niece, Kelly A. Walling; grand niece, Dixie Walling; nephew, Van Sitton; and several other relatives and friends and beloved Saban. Charles was an accomplished musician and played in local bands, including the Bloody Rose Band, in the Huntsville area. He also liked fishing, playing his guitar, singing heavy metal and rock and roll! Charles Slaton was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him!
Visitation will be Friday from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home. Chapel service will followed at 5:00 service with Dr. Bobby Burt officiating
