Charles “Chuck” Wilson King, 40, passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2026.
Chuck was born on May 2, 1986, and was raised in Madison County, Alabama. He was the beloved son of Eligie “Ronnie” Wilson King, Jr. and Ellen Ann Cater King.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Kelsey Rebekah Poss King; his grandparents, Eligie Wilson King and Ruby Irene Allen King; and Charles L. Cater and Alice Marie Franklin Cater.
Chuck is survived by his children, Allen Khol “Poe” Riley King and Hinata Jade “Magnolia” King; his parents, Ronnie and Ellen King; his sister, Emily Cope (Matt); his father-in-law, Steve Poss; brothers-in-law, Kyle and Laura Poss, and Kane and Maddy Poss; nephews, Matt Cope (Juliana), Ronnie Cope, and Miguel Cope; niece, Christine Williams (Jake); aunts, Penny Cater Kennedy and Peggy King Haston; uncles, Charles E. Cater and Philip King; cousins who were like brothers, Jason Lynch and Jeremy Lynch (Kim); as well as numerous other cousins: Matthew Kennedy, Sarah Kennedy Cox (Ricky Jr), Jennifer and Brandon Bouldin, Courtney and Brent Hutchison, William King, Stephanie King, lots of second counsins, two great-aunts and two uncles, and extended family members, and friends, and relatives.
Chuck loved his children and his family deeply. He enjoyed laughing, having fun, and spending time with those he loved most.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 12:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Greg Chappell officiating. Burial will be in New Sharon Cemetery.
