Charles “Chuck” Burns, Jr., 54, of Florence passed away Thursday, June 28, 2018. The family will receive friends Sunday, July 1, 2018 from noon to 1 p.m. at Spry~Williams Funeral Home, Florence. Memorial service will follow at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
Chuck worked for the Alabama State Department of Transportation as a Civil Engineer. He loved his family, friends, and church with all his heart. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles “Doug” Burns, Sr. and younger brother, Darian Lee Burns.
Survivors include his mother, Mary Joyce Burns; brother, Van Burns (Melanie); daughters, Brittany Burns Nazario (Juan) and Lydia Burns Green (Adam); grandchildren, Ryker Darian Green and Sadie Lee and Manuel “William” Nazario; and special friend, Susan Limbaugh.
