Charles Christopher Kratsch, 47, passed away suddenly at his home in Huntsville, AL.  Chris was born and raised in Huntsville and graduated from Grissom High School.  His academic career at Jacksonville State University where he pursued a criminal justice degree, was cut short by the birth of his first child.

He is survived by four beautiful daughters, Katie, Abby, Sydney, and Kelly, whom he bragged on constantly to anyone who would listen.  He is also survived by his beloved mother Sue; his two sisters, Susan and Patsy; and his nephew and nieces, Ross, Ashley, Alex, and Maggie.  He is now reunited with his father, Chuck, who preceded him in death.

He will be most missed for his uncanny ability to make friends and bring laughter wherever he went.  He had an intense and burning passion for Star Trek, how his hair looked, the possibility (no matter how small) of inclement weather, all things aviation, colorful insults toward his fellow drivers, and most of all, his daughters.

His many friends and family are invited to a memorial service which will be held at 3:00 on Saturday, April 21st at Epworth United Methodist Church, located at 2102 Epworth Dr. NE in Huntsville, AL.
