Charles “Chap” Coffey – Death Notice

Charles “Chap” Coffey, 80, of Moulton, died July 13, 2013, at NHC in Moulton. He was born in Lawrence County on March 24, 1933, to Clarence and Mable Darnell Coffey. He was preceded in death by his sons Robbie, Terry (Spanky), and Mark Coffey; brothers, Clarence Jr, Hollis, Billy Joe, and Milford Coffey.

Visitation will be tonight at Parkway Funeral Home from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. with service at 8 p.m. Burial will be in Morris Chapel Cemetery. The service will be officiated by Colby Junkin and directed by Parkway Funeral Home.

He is survived by one son, Tom Blevins, Hillsboro; one daughter Sherry Mason, Long Beach, CA; five brothers, Roland Coffey, of Trinity, Stanley, M A Coffey, both of Moulton, Willard Coffey, Hillsboro, and Dwight Coffey, Decatur; two sisters, Jean Roden, Falkville, and Frances Green, Hillsboro; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and Trudy Bradford a special friend for 12 years.

Pallbearers will be Rodney Blevins, Justin Sappington, Matt Green, Steve Roden, Colton Naron, and Cody Coffey.
