Charles C Carter
MARCH 30, 1942 – APRIL 26, 2019
Charles Carter, age 77 of Memphis TN, passed away Friday, April 26, 2019. He attended St. John United Methodist and retired from the United States Army. His favorite hobbies included fishing, solving puzzles, and building train sets.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Lurlean Carter; Sisters, Betty Mitchell, Gloria Jean Carter; Uncle, John Carter and wife Julia.
He is survived by his wife Bernice Carter; Children, Charles Clay Carter Jr. “Chuck” (Sheila), Shawn Carter, Brandi Carter Jean (Quincy); Stepchildren, Bridgette Wallace, Dion A. Wallace Sr.(Tijuana) and Cozette Wallace; Fourteen Grandchildren; Three Great Grandchildren; A host of relatives and friends.
Visitation to be held at St. John’s Methodist in Lawrenceburg, TN on Saturday, May 4, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with a Funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Brother James Scruggs to officiate.
Burial will be at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens
