Charles “Buster” Elzie Lowery, age 88, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 27, 2015, at his residence.
Buster was a loving husband and a wonderful dad and papa who will be missed by all who knew him.
The visitation will be 2-4 p.m. today at Spry Memorial Chapel with the funeral following at 4 p.m. in the chapel. Brother Jeff Fleming will officiate the funeral. Burial will be at Tharptown Cemetery.
He is survived by wife of 27 years, Mary Lynn Demastus Lowery; children, Lottie Coan (husband, Doug), Sue Elliott (husband, Rex), Terry Demastus (wife, Sheila), Tom Demastus (wife, Kim), and Paul Demastus (wife, Stacey); special buddy, Brayden Hill; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Lowery, parents, Arthur and Sarah Lowery; brother and sisters; and great-granddaugher, Ashley Murray.
The pallbearers will be Austin Demastus, Eric Demastus, Jeff Murray, Hunter Murray, Glen Roberson, and Gage Roberson.
