Charles Blake Charles Burroughs Blake, 84, passed away on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at his home. Born on January 28, 1937 in Monroe County, he was a son to Archie and Trudy Burrough Blake. Charles worked most of his life as a plumber and electrician in the construction business. His hobbies included fishing, hunting, farming, and raising his dogs.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home in Amory with Bro. Ricky Jones and Bro. Justin Dykes officiating. Burial will follow in the Liberty Cemetery.

He is survived by daughters, Charlotte Jones (Ricky) of Nettleton, Tonya Thompson (Tim) of Myrtle and Amanda Dabbs (David) of Hatley, and Laurie Reeves of Nettleton; two sons, Tim Blake (Susan) of Nettleton and Tommy Blake (Teresa) of the Carolina Community; several step children; and a host of grands, great grands, and great great grands.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Barbara Blake; daughter, Sharon Dykes; grandchildren, Bridget Dykes, Chris Jones, Heather Thompson, Rebecca Phelps; and great grandchild, Jesse Ray Dykes.

Pallbearers will be Tim Thompson, Blake Thompson, Frankie Williamson, Chonda Leary, Jamie Williamson, and Dakota Phelps.

Visitation will be on Thursday from 11 until 12:45 p.m. at the funeral home.
