Charles Burkart Ogle – Obituary

Graveside services for Charles Burkart Ogle, 79, formerly of Decatur, will be held Saturday, Aug. 15, 2015, at 1 p.m. at Hopewell Cemetery in Hanceville. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Hanceville Funeral Home.
Mr. Ogle passed away Aug. 5, 2015, in Foley. Charles was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Elberta, and was a former member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Decatur. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh and Marguerite Ogle.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Virginia W. “Ginger” Ogle; daughter, Carol M. Morris, of Foley; two sons, Steven W. Ogle, of Cincinnati, Ohio, and William C. Ogle, of Dallas, Texas; brother, Hugh Lee Ogle Jr., of Petal, Mississippi; eight grandchildren and a host of other loving relatives.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 13220 Main Street, Elberta, AL 36530.
Hanceville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
