Mr. Charles “Bud” Harris, age 89 of Athens, AL passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at his residence. Mr. Harris was born on May 11, 1930 in Limestone County, AL to James Rufus Harris and Lener Elizabeth Scroggins Harris.
Mr. Harris is survived by his wife, Annie Ruth Harris of Athens, AL; sister in law, Wanda Seiler of Huntsville, AL; brother in law, Klaus Seiler of Huntsville, AL; several nieces and nephews and special friend, Nancy Parsons (Frank) of Harvest, AL.
Mr. Harris was a member of Reunion Church of Christ.
Services for Mr. Harris will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, January 27, 2020 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Bruce Craig officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:45 PM prior to the service. Burial will be in Limestone Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Bailey, Tommy Faulk, Harold Woodward, Dennis Wallace, Terry Wallace and Joey Solomon.
