Dr. Charles Bedford Lanning Sr., age 82, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Monday, March 02, 2015 at Country Cottage in Lawrenceburg, TN. He was born and raised in the New Prospect Community, retired dentist, and of the Methodist Faith. Dr. Lanning served his country honorably in the U.S. Air Force.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Flora Bedford Lanning; his wife, Rebecca Warren Lanning; and one brother, George Lanning.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, March 06, 2015 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 07, 2015, with Billy Beal and Gary Hughes officiating. Interment will follow at Mimosa Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, TN with full military honors. Family suggests memorials be made to Lawrence County High School Library.
