Charles Arthur “Shotgun” Rickard, 78, Spruce Pine, Alabama, passed away Monday, March 28, 2016 at ECM Hospital.
He lived his entire life in Franklin County and was a member of Eastside Church of Christ. He was retired from U.S. Reduction.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, March 30, 2016, 2 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville with Johnny Richardson and Mike Morrow officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from noon until service time. Burial will follow in Franklin Memory Gardens.
Survivors include wife, Sara Rickard; sons, Alan Rickard and wife, Lesa, David Rickard and wife, Dawn; daughter, Beth Jones and husband, Lynn; grandchildren, Justin Foust, Lindsey Jones and husband, Clay, Jessica Jones and husband, Trent, Laurie Rickard, Hannah Rickard, Kaylee Rickard, Sarah Grace Rickard, Hannah Hulse and husband, Brandon, Olivia Mayes and husband, Rocky, Sam Jones; two great-grandchildren, Tripp and Kennedy Hulse; brother, John Rickard; special cousin, Bobby Rickard and wife, Dale; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Steve Britnell, Glen Rickard, Chris Richardson, Jimmy Seay, Bob Hamilton and Jesus Guerrero.
He was preceded in death by parents, Charlie and Opal Rickard.
