Charles Arnold Kelly, Sr. was born April 27, 1938 in Savannah, GA the son of the late Thomas W. Sr. and Erma Bragg Kelly.
On January 6, 1956, he was united in marriage to Linda Jane Boykin. Mr. Kelly was a mail carrier for the US Postal Service and was a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Savannah, Georgia. Mr. Kelly loved fishing, working puzzles, but most especially he loved his grandkids.
Mr. Kelly departed this life on April 6, 2016 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 77 Years, 11 Months, 10 Days. He is survived by his wife Linda Jane (Boykin) Kelly of Selmer, TN; a daughter, Lenora Jane Boyer and husband Mickey Boyer of Rincon, GA; a son, Charles Arnold Kelly Jr. and wife Nora Ockerlander Kelly of Selmer, TN; a sister, Betty McCullough of Blichton, GA; a brother, Bobby Kelly of Prattville, AL; and five grandchildren, Laura Sellers, Stephen Franklin, Michael Roberson, Claire Kelly, and Isabella Kelly.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Kelly was preceded in death by a brother, William (Bill) Kelly.
