Charles Anderson Boyd, 83, of Tanner, Alabama, died Saturday, October 4, 2025 at his residence. Mr. Boyd was born February 11, 2025 in Limestone County to Elmer Boyd and Ruthie Moss. He was a retired farmer. Graveside services will be 2:00 pm, Thursday the 9th at Myers Cemetery in Athens, Alabama. There will be a visitation from 11:30am to 1:30 pm at Spry Funeral Home of Athens. Pallbearers will be Patrick Scruggs, Andrew Boyd, Larry Gordon, and Daniel Gordon. Survivors include his son, Paul Boyd (Sharon) of Athens, daughter Lisa Scruggs of Tanner, three Grandchildren and twelve Great Grandchildren, sisters Betty Griffin and Eva Pack both of Athens, as well as several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his son, Chris Boyd, brothers Bob Boyd and Dave Boyd, and sister Geneva Boyd.
