Mrs. Charlene Neal Smith age 81 of McMinnville, TN died Wednesday, January 05, 2022, at Ascension St. Thomas River Park Hospital. She was born February 17, 1940, in Warren County, TN, was a homemaker, and a member of the Methodist church. Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her parents Dexter Lee “D.L.” and Mary Hannah Adcock Neal, husband Carlos Smith, sister Melba Bonita Young, and granddaughter Katelyn Beth Smith.
Survivors include her daughter Shannon Hamilton, son and daughter-in-law Neal and Amy Smith, sisters Thelma (Marvin) Kell, Betty Jo Jordan, and Barbara Steele, grandchildren Dustin (Amanda) Curtis, Tristan Hamilton, Carley Rose Hamilton and fiancé Austin Miller, Hannah Smith and fiancé Parker Hildreth, and Caleb Smith.
The graveside service and interment for Charlene will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 08, 2022, at Blues Hill Cemetery. Caleb Smith, Tristan Hamilton, and Dustin Curtis will officiate. There will be no public visitation at McMinnville Funeral Home as the family will meet friends at the cemetery.
