Charity Allison Evans, age 49, if Athens passed away at Athens Limestone Hospital on January 8, 2025.Mrs. Evans was born in Omaha, Nebraska on July 25, 1975.
Survivors include her husband, Jason Evans; daughter Alexia Evans; mother Susan Marcusson Fox; brothers Justin Marcusson (Stacy), James Myers (Lori), as well as several nieces in nephews.
Charity truly lived up to her name. She gave back to her community tirelessly and participated in several charities including Manna House, the Angel Tree program, Wreaths across America, not to mention the time she spent serving her country in the Army. She led fundraisers at her work to give back to others, often using this to provide supplies to local nursing home residents. She was a member of the Cowboy Church of Limestone County, where she was the Youth program leader. Her daughter Lexi was the light of her life and she was always willing to lend a hand for her fundraisers. Charity also enjoyed boating, camping, crafts, baking in her spare time.
Visitation will be held at McConnell Funeral Home on Saturday, January 18, 2025 from 12-1pm with a memorial service to follow in her honor at 1pm.
