Chadwick Samples, Sr., age 78, of Ohatchee, passed away on Friday, August 23, 2024. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., with a funeral service at 11a.m. at Adams Brown Service Funeral Home. Chadwick is survived by his son, Chadrick “Chuck” Samples, Jr. He was preceded in death by his parents, L.C. and Jailey Samples, and his brothers, Fred, Coleman, and Lloyd Samples.
Chadwick dedicated 46 years of his life to Acker Electric and was a proud member of Ohatchee Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans, a Mason, and a devoted Alabama fan, actively participating in the Red Elephant Club. Chadwick was a generous supporter of St. Jude’s Hospital. Donations can be made to St. Jude Research Hospital in lieu of flowers in his memory. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him, as he was a good man to everyone.
