Chad Edward Lewter, 49, of Ardmore, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2023.
He was the son of A.D. Lewter, Jr. and the late Sidell Garrison Lewter of Elkmont, Alabama.
Mr. Lewter has lived around the Ardmore area his whole life and was of the Baptist faith. He loved his grandchildren, nieces, and nephews dearly. He enjoyed spending his free time watching movies, playing with his grandchildren as well as his cats.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Sidell Garrison Lewter; maternal grandparents James Edward and Sadie Garrison; as well as his paternal grandparents, A.D. Lewter, Sr. and Mary Lewter.
He is survived by his son, Chris (Leslie) Lewter, father, A.D. (Barbara) Lewter, Jr., brothers; Steven Lewter and Larry Kelly, sisters; Leah Carter (Tim Reyer), Mollie (Troy) Heard, Kelly (Rex) Harrison, and Ann Hardaway, two grandchildren; Greyson Lewter and Kahlan Lewter, as well as several nieces and nephews.
A visitation and memorial service has been scheduled for Mr. Lewter at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home on Thursday, March 9, 2023, with visitation beginning at 5:00 PM and the memorial service to follow at 6:00 PM. Bro. Shane Reyer will officiate the service.
Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home is assisting the family with services.
