Chad Curtis Durham, age 41, a resident of Centerville, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2023, at St. Thomas Hickman Hospital.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 20, 2023, at 2:30 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Roger Humphrey and Wesley Pattison officiating. Following the service, he will be laid to rest in Johnsons Chapel Cemetery. A visitation will also be held on Friday from 12:30 – 2:30 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born on November 25, 1981, in Williamson County, Tennessee, and raised at Johnsons Chapel, Chad was the son of Jerry Wayne Durham and Joyce Elaine Ragsdale Durham. He worked many years in insulation and construction. He was a true outdoorsman who enjoyed camping and fishing.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his children, Destiny Durham and Dominic Durham, and their mother, Melanie Hinson, brothers, Timothy (Virginia) Potts, Jerry Durham, Jr., Ollie Jason Durham, Christopher Allen Durham, Eric Ryan Durham, sisters, Rebecca Potts, Keri Ann (Dale) Scales, Laurie Kay Durham, Kristy Durham-Lipski, special nephew, Matthew Durham, one grandchild on the way, and several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ollie Ragsdale, Susie Ragsdale, J.D. Durham, and Mildred Raines Wright.
Pallbearers will be Roger Ragsdale, Chester Ragsdale, Charles Scott, Rodney Scott, Dale Scales, and Joseph Scales.
