Cecilia Wallene Wilson Bryant
September 24, 1948 – April 25, 2019
On Thursday, April 25, 2019, Wallene Bryant–mother, grandmother, daughter and sister, passed away at the age of 70 years.
Wallene was born to Billie Dean Wilson and the late George Wallace Wilson on Sept. 24, 1948, in Moulton, AL. Wallene graduated from Winston County High School, and attended Walker College in Jasper, AL.
Wallene is survived by her mother-Billie Dean Wilson of Houston; two children-Bill and Marshall Smith both of Huntsville; sister-Debbie Murphy of Decatur and brother-Glenn Wilson of Houston. She is also survived by four grandchildren-Laurin Smith Ward, Cody Smith, Corgan Smith and Keelan Smith.
Wallene had a tremendous sense of humor and always loved a good laugh! She had the voice of an angel and loved to sing and play her guitar. She loved all sorts of music including southern gospel, country & western and rock and roll. She even took her sons to their first concert to see ZZ Top. Wallene was an avid reader and loved to watch movies. She never met a stranger and always made quick friends everywhere she went. She was loved by many and missed by all.
The viewing for Wallene will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at Houston Baptist Church in Houston, AL. The Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. at Houston Baptist with burial immediately following at the Houston Baptist Cemetery. Kenneth Sudduth will officiate.
