Cecile Mason Snider, 89, formally of Birmingham, passed away on Tuesday, October 10th, 2023, at Limestone Health and Rehab. Mrs. Snider was born on October 17th, 1933, in Friar’s Point, Mississippi, to Cecil and Maria Fitzgerald Mason.
Mrs. Snider is survived by her sons Brian Keith Snider (Laura), Bradley Kent Snider (Jane), Jeffery Dale Snider (Stephanie), and Alan Jay Snider (Jamie); grandchildren Mason Snider (Alexa), Kelly Snider, Walter Snider, Sydney Snider, Libby O’Connor (Daniel), Andrew Snider (Marianna), Ashleigh Hainline (Kenny), Anna Grace Snider, and Amy Beth Snider; great-grandchildren Eleanor O’Connor, Verity O’Connor, and Peyton Snider.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Henry Snider; daughter Melanie Snider; and brother Richard Mason.
Funeral services for Mrs. Snider will be Friday, October 13th, 2023, at 10:00am, at Madison Baptist Church on Balch Road in Madison, with Pastor Mike Allison officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00-10:00am at the church. There will be a graveside service at 2:00pm at Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham.
