Cecil Sullivan, 83, passed away March 31. 2014.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. The funeral will be Thursday, at 1:00 pm at Morrison’s in Cherokee with Bro. David Conley & Brother Bruce Blankenship officiating. Burial will be at Barton Cemetery.
Mr. Sullivan was a member of Red Rock Church of Christ. He loved the Lord with all of his heart and spoke of Him to others often.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon, and Lily Mae Sullivan, and sisters, Wilodean Sledge, Billie Mae Turberville, and Ailene Thompson.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 58 years, Peggy Sullivan, son, William Sullivan (Cindy) and daughter; Judy Fincher (Ray), grandchildren, Brittany Sullivan, Merle McKissack (Tima), Michelle Helton (Dewayne), Debra Motes (Matt), and John Fincher, and seven great-grancchildren, Brothers; Charles Sullivan (Carolyn), William Sullivan (Joyce), Bobby Sullivan (Geraldine), and Kenneth Sullivan, sisters; Mary Aldridge. Betty Ruth Hudson and Jewel Turberville (Roy).
Pallbearers will be Dewayne Helton, Matt Motes, Billy Bolden, Bobby James, Dillon Barber, and Tim Thompson.
The family would like to express a special thanks to nurses, Shelley, Toni, and Donna and care giver Mary of Hospice of the Tennessee Valley.
