Cecil R. Vandiver, age 95 of Sheffield, died Thursday, April 13, 2017. His graveside service will be Monday, April 17, 2017, 1 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Gardens with David Conley officiating.
Mr. Vandiver was a Colbert County native and a member of the Church of Christ. He was retired for the U. S. Postal Service and was preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice Logan Vandiver and ten siblings.
He is survived by his daughter; Arlene Vandiver Robbins and husband, Roland; brother; Edward Vandiver, granddaughters; Maelin Robbins Stubbs (Randy), Melissa Robbins Long (Randy), great granddaughters; Anna Morris Loy (Josh), Chrissy Morris, Cally Stubbs, great grandson; Reed Long, great great grandsons; Colten Lashley and Cooper Loy.
Pallbearers are Randy Long, Randy Stubbs, Reed Long, Ricky Robbins, Rusty Robbins and Rodney Logan.
