Cecil Donnell Pearson, 90, of Blanche, Tennessee passed away at his home Tuesday, March 12, 2024. He was born Thursday, February 22, 1934 in Gadsden, Alabama to James David Pearson and Willie Pearl Jerrells Pearson.
Mr. Pearson served in the United States Army from 1956 until 1979 and retired as Sergeant Major. He enjoyed making Blue Ribbon Wine, farming, fishing, and working on his farm.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 48 years, Linda Taylor Pearson; and all of his siblings.
He is survived by his sons, Michael Pearson (Sherry), Cecil Pearson, Jr. (Debbie), William Pearson (Sherrie), Timothy Pearson (Lisa), and Troy Pearson (Judy); daughter, Meddena Green (Tommy); nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
There will be a visitation on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM. A Chapel service will follow at 1:00 PM with Pastor Jimmy Tyson officiating. Burial will follow in Blanche Cemetery, Blanche, Tennessee.
