Cecil Davis, age 90 of Jasper, passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at his residence. He was a member of Lamon Chapel Lodge #723, 32nd degree Master Mason/Shriner. He was a retired Navy E9 Master Chief Engineman. He retried from Alabama Power Company, Smith Lake Dam. He attended Peabody College in Nashville.
The family will receive friends on Friday, September 1, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday, September 1, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel, with burial at Walker Memory Gardens. Wayne Williams and Clayton Harvey will officiate.
Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his Father-Jessie Davis; Mother-Katie Burkett Davis; Daughter-Sara Ellen Davis.
He is survived by his Wife-Lavonnie Sellers Davis; Host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will his Masonic Brothers.
