Cecil C. Holder – Obituary

Cecil C. Holder, 87, passed away Saturday, July 19, 2014, at CourtYard Community Living Center in Fulton. He was born October 17, 1926 to the late John Alexander Holder and the late Lucy Hale Holder. He retired from International Harvester after many years of service. He served his country in the U.S. Army and was a Korean War veteran. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, watching deer and turkey, having fish frys and spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Wilma Holder of Fulton, Son, Jerry (Amelia) Holder of Fulton, Daughter, Janet (Stephen) Winkler of Saltillo, 3 Granddaughters, Danelle Black of Tupelo, Shanda Wood of Fulton, Brandi (Bryan) Wood of Fairview, 2 Great-grandsons, Tyler Wood, Gage Wood, 4 Great-granddaughters, Haylee Wood, Kennady Wood, Gloria Wood, Harper Wood, Sister, Altie Wren of Becker.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 Brothers, Millard Holder, Milton Holder, James Marvin Holder, 3 Sisters, Viola Bridges, Inez Whitaker, and Irene Harris.

Honorary pallbearers will be Bud Holder, Lester Holder, Chester Holder, Junior Harris, Lamar Harris, Eddie Holder, Roger Crane, and Frankie Nanney
