Cecelia Marie Alford, 73, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at Diversicare in Amory. She was born August 7, 1950, to her loving parents, John Czarnik and Monica Gonia Czarnik in Monroe, Michigan, where she lived most of her life.
It was the simple pleasures that brought Cecelia immense joy. She found great enjoyment in playing bingo with friends. She possessed a remarkable talent for crochet, crafting beautiful pieces that became cherished keepsakes for her family and friends. Cecelia’s greatest joy, however, came from spending time with her family. She especially reveled in spoiling her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her beloved canine companion, Spirit.
Cecelia is survived by three children, Chryseis Steadman and her husband, Thomas, of Trenton, Michign, Jennifer Edwards of Amory, and Christopher Czarnik of Michigan; three grandchildren, Michael, Stephanie, and Amanda; three great-grandchildren, Quinton, Jacob, and Oliver; one brother, Mark Czarnik; and one sister, Cathy Savell.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Alben Alford; parents; and one sister, Donna Czarnik.
