TUSCUMBIA-On Monday, February 9, 2026 the Colbert County Sheriff’s Office issued trauma kits to every deputy, and every patrol unit is now equipped with an assigned AED.
These life-saving medical devices are lightweight, compact, and designed for first responders to use during sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) events. When seconds matter, having the right equipment on hand can make all the difference.
It is an honor to be able to provide these resources for the citizens of Colbert County and to continue improving the level of service and care we provide to our community. These life-saving tools were made possible through opioid settlement funds and our partnership with Cardiac Solutions.
With this new equipment the Colbert County Sheriff’s Department is proud to serve and protect Colbert County.
