Cathy Whitehead Hickey, a beloved wife, sister, mother and nana, passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2025. Cathy’s life was filled with love and devotion to her husband and daughters. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, cheering on her grandchildren during their favorite sports, and watching Alabama Crimson Tide football.
Visitation for Cathy will be held on Friday, May 16th, from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. at Rogersville Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at Civitan Cemetery.
Cathy was preceded in death by her parents, James and Nadine Whitehead, and her brother-in-law, Mack Hinton. She is survived by her devoted husband of 53 years, Charles Michael Hickey; their daughters, Corrie Elizabeth Prickett (Jimmy) and Jessica Diane Hickey; and grandchildren, Jackson James Prickett and Finnley Hayes Prickett; her sisters, Jimmie Ann Hinton and Judi Wilson (Ronnie); and many other loved ones.

During this difficult time, the family wants to express their deepest gratitude for the countless prayers, messages, and calls of support they have received. They are truly touched by the outpouring of love and affection from everyone who has been a part of their lives.
