Cathy Parsons Green of Union Grove died July 26, 2014 at Huntsville Hospital. She was born at Fort Hood, TX and was predeceased by her parents: Robert and Shirley Parsons and a brother: Robert Parsons Jr. Cathy graduated from S. R. Butler High School and worked in the medical field with several local doctors. Survivors include husband Damon H. Green of Union Grove, brother Louis Parsons of Huntsville, sister-in-law Marsha Parsons of Arab and several nieces and nephews. No services will be held. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Buchanan Scholarship Fund, Latham Methodist Church, % Mrs. Jan Sturbois, 7714 Charlotte Dr. SW, Huntsville, Al 35802 or a favorite charity.
