Mrs. Cathy Lynn Bolton Armstrong, age 66, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at Life Care Center.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 26th at 11AM at Arlington Cemetery. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Cathy was born on September 21, 1953 in Maury County and was the daughter of the late Hershel Bolton and the late Icy Bell Bolton. She served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. A dedicated pastor’s wife for many years, Cathy was also a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed doing crafts and working in her flowers, and in her younger years, she enjoyed playing fast pitch softball.
She is survived by her husband: Allen Armstrong of Columbia; son: Timothy Armstrong of Columbia; daughter: Kim Armstrong of Mt. Pleasant; sister: Barbara Watkins of Hohenwald; and grandchildren: Jaimee (Alec) Blair, Dylan Vaughn, Destinee Armstrong, Christina Armstrong, Elizabeth Armstrong, and Katlyn Armstrong.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Terry Armstrong and sister, Linda Howell.
