Funeral service for Cathy Joni McCormick, 63, of Moulton will be Sunday, January 5, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Highway 36 Holy Church of Christ with Carroll Hall and Marcus Lipscomb officiating. The body will be at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Morris Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be today from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. McCormick, who died January 3, 2014, at Huntsville Hospital was born October 9, 1950, in Lawrence County to C.G. and Kathyrn Childers. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, David Childers and Jeff Childers.
Survivors include one son, Jamie McCormick; daughter, Tina Alexander; brother, Roger Childers (Kathy); sisters, Sharlene Grantland (Larry), Lynn Soloway (Jeff), Nora Curtis (Chris) and Marsha Smith (Chris); grandchildren, Lance Alexander, Logan Alexander, Cody McCormick, James McCormick, Samantha Fennel; great-grandchildren, Adriana Alexander, Emma McCormick and Bryson McCormick.
Pallbearers will be friends and family.
