Graveside services for Mrs. Catherine Taylor Edwards will be held at 1:30 pm Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11 am until 1 pm Tuesday at Shelton Funeral Home.
Mrs. Edwards was born February 26, 1943 at her home at what was then called Eaton Road just west of Trenton, TN. She was the second daughter of Albert Shelton and Martha Stallings Taylor.
Mrs. Edwards had many talents, among them a love of Genealogy. Many people, from across the country, contacted her to try and find their relatives gravesite. She was a retired paramedic and loved all things medical. The greatest love of her life was her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mrs. Edwards was preceded in death by her parents; Albert and Martha Taylor; her brother, Albert Shelton, Jr.; a sister, Priscilla Josephine Taylor; and husband, Joe Edwards.
Mrs. Edwards is survived by her sister, Cynthia Taylor Moore and husband Bob; children, Laney Kehel, Priscilla Poteet and husband Doug, and Martha Hinson and husband Barry; six grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
