Cassie Lynn Foster was born March 09, 1992 in Joliet, IL to Randal and Teresa Wardlow Foster. She was raised in Braidwood, IL and relocated to Waynesboro in 2021. Cassie will be remembered as a very talented person. She was a talented artist and loved to paint, especially on canvas. Her love for art extended beyond just painting on canvas, she enjoyed doing most any kind of arts and crafts. Nature was a place she loved to be, whether it was fishing, hunting for special rocks, or walking the creek, she loved anything involving nature. It would be no surprise with her love for nature, that she loved taking trips to the crystal mine in Arkansas. She enjoyed nature daily as she loved all kinds of flowers and plants and working with them. Cassie was a socialite; she was the kind of person that made everyone smile. Her love for people and her love to cook led her to working in a restaurant and then working as a bartender. She loved music and with her social personality enjoyed attending concerts. Cassie departed this life on February 26, 2025 at the age of 32 years, 11 months, and 18 days.
Those left behind to cherish her memory include her parents, Randal and Teresa Wardlow Foster of Olivehill, TN; two sisters, Holly A. Foster of Lincoln, IL; and Melissa R. Shafiabady(Christopher) of Wilmington, IL; She is also survived by her grandmother, Barbara Stricklin (Thomas) of Savannah, TN; her grandfather, James Wardlow (Jane) of Savannah, TN; as well as her aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Paul E. Foster and her grandmother, Wilma F. Votta.
