Casey Jay Edkins, 23 of Arab, Alabama, formerly from Key Largo Florida, died Friday September 9, 2016 at his residence.
Mr. Edkins was born December 13, 1992 in Miami Florida to Gregory Jay Edkins and Lissa Jo Ruggles. He was a 2011 graduate of Brindlee Mountain High School and worked for Top of the River as a waiter. He enjoyed scuba diving, hiking, spending time with his friends and video games. He had lived in Arab for the past 8 years, moving here from Key Largo Florida.
He is survived by his parents: Greg Edkins and Lissa Ruggles; stepfather: Rick Steiner; a brother Austin Jay Ruggles and his twin sister Nicole Jo Edkins.
The family elected cremation with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel assisting.
